Delete your data
Ask Big Sarge has no accounts. There is no sign-up, no login and no profile on our servers. Your notes, favourites, recent cards and exam progress are stored only on your phone.
Delete everything on your phone
- To remove single items, open Ask Big Sarge: delete a note on its card, remove favourites, or clear recent cards in Settings.
- To remove everything, delete the Ask Big Sarge app from your phone. All app data is deleted with it, and we can’t recover it.
Data we hold on our server
We keep only a salted hash of your phone’s anonymous install ID with a count of your Describe the job searches. It cannot be linked to your name. It is deleted automatically about 40 days after it was last used, and deleting the app means any new install gets a new ID. We never store the text you search for.
Ask us to delete it now
Email privacy@askbigsarge.co.uk with the subject “Delete my AskBigSarge data”. We will reply within one month, usually much sooner.
What is kept
Records of purchases are kept by Apple, Google and our purchase provider RevenueCat for tax and fraud prevention, under their own policies. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account.
